A note on Gameplay: Party size and Player Base

This will undoubtedly be a question that pops up on a regular basis: how big will the game get?

The answer, simply put, is this: as big as it can.

Considering the small amount of people currently on board, development will be slow. Hence, modules will be launched once a week, to start. Due to the intricacies of building modules and the limited number of GMs, a massive party size simply isn't feasible at this time. So, at least in the beginning, the party size for each module will probably be limited to ten.

So what does this mean, at first? When modules first begin to launch, a thread will be posted indicating the scheduled time for a module. From there on out, it's first come, first serve. You'll be required to note on that thread if you'll be able to attend. Once party size limit has been reached, the thread will be closed and server information will be PMed to players attending. If you can't make it(something comes up, etc) PM a DM and the thread will re-open to accommodate the available space in the party.

However...

As the team grows and modules are more readily produced within the confines of our setting, modules will undoubtedly launch twice a week or more. So don't think you're never going to get a chance to play! :-)

The first module will obviously introduce the player base to our world. However, that doesn't mean you have to play from the beginning to get the full effect. As official details concerning our setting are ironed out, an additional forum will be posted that outlines background information for T: FotO. That way you can build a character that makes sense and fits into the world without having to play from square one.
